Works for Me Wednesday

This week's Works for Me Wednesday has a theme--favorite places to shop online!

Let's cut to the chase:

1. I would be remiss if I did not mention Sew, Mama, Sew. Not only do they have amazing, adorable, beautiful fabric, notions, and patterns; but their blog provides incredible inspiration and fabric give-aways. What's not to like?!

2. Jcaroline... Another sewing/crafty site. They ran *incredible* deals over the holidays. I managed to snag some $14/yard Nigella fabric for just a few dollars! I have to thank my sister for introducing me to both of these stores.

3. Etsy. I admit I haven't bought anything from Etsy yet, but a girl can dream, right? I also dream about maybe one day (ha!) trying to sell sets of my Jesse tree ornaments or something. Who knows...

Works for Me Wednesday

Not long ago, several of my necklaces became *quite* entangled after a trip, and the following scene ensued...

I had been keeping them in snack-sized baggies to protect them from whatever else roams around my toiletry bag, etc. But I didn't realize the baggie wouldn't protect them from each other. Sheesh!

Enter..... pill organizer!


Mine is a lot like this, but in pretty pastel rainbow hues. I put one piece of jewelry in each section. I haven't traveled with it enough to know if it's fool-proof yet, but it's a huge improvement! And (so far) it works for me! :)
